Dr. Felix Tiefenbacher - CEO
Dr. Felix Tiefenbacher, founder and CEO, holds a PhD in experimental physics and has worked several years in the field of quantum optics and quantum cryptography. From 2002 to 2004, Felix was responsible for renewal, startup and operation of the Swiss Avalanche Test Site. Later on he was project manager of a US funded research project for optical quantum computing and in charge of the transmitter station of the groundbreaking quantum cryptography experiments between the Canary Islands La Palma and Tenerife over 144 km. After his scientific career with publications in Nature, Nature Physics and other leading scientific journals, Felix worked as COO and later as CEO for a start-up company in the field of quantum security solutions from 2006 to 2008. In spring 2008, Felix joined his partner Johannes Höfler to start up HELIOVIS.
Dr. Wolfram Krendlesberger - CFO
Dr. Wolfram Krendlesberger, CFO, studied economics and commercial science at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and at the London School of Economics (distinction). After gathering first professional experience in auditing and investment banking, he worked as a consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from 1996 to 2002 focusing on utilities. Until the end of 2008, Wolfram was CFO of the waste management company Altstoff Recycling Austria AG. In 2010, he served as CEO in the restructuring process of an Austrian group operating in the environmental technology and disposal industry. Since mid 2009, Wolfram has been on the lookout for promising start-up projects and has invested into five young companies so far.
